SOAK have been announced as the headliners for the first of three HWCH gigs on Meeting House Square on Thursday 2nd October.

HWCH stands for Hard Working Class Heroes, an annual event that celebrates the best emerging bands and artists on the Irish music scene. Ireland’s annual showcase festival and conference for new music and digital returns for a three-day event in Dublin from Thursday Oct 2 to Saturday Oct 4.
There’s so much talent on display here, it’s impossible to pick a highlight. Alongside returning heroes such as Hamsandwich, Fight Like Apes, and Soak, you’ll discover the latest greatest thing you haven’t heard of, but are destined to love.
HWCH 2014 features 104 bands - selected by a judging panel of Irish and international music industry professionals from over 500 applications - will play seven venues across the capital including the Button Factory, Meeting House Square, The Workman’s Club, Bad Bobs and also smaller venues for pop-up gigs in the Gutter Bookshop and Oxfam Parliament Street.
