Brought to you by Temple Bar Cultural Trust

Dublin’s Outdoor, Indoor Space.

Meeting House Square is a unique outdoor, all-weather space and venue located at the heart of Temple Bar, Dublin's Cultural Quarter. Since December 2011 this striking urban square has become home to Ireland's only retractable canopy roof. At the first sign of rain we can simply flip the switch and watch the awesome bulrush umbrellas bloom overhead. Now you can enjoy the unmistakable atmosphere of an outdoor event without being at the mercy of the Irish weather! The space is endlessly adaptable and features both a built-in proscenium stage, movie screen and state of the art projection facilities. Isn't it time you explored the freedom of the great indoors?

  • Meeting House Square couldn't have been a more perfect venue for the McGuigan City Vineyard - it's central, easily accessible and the umbrellas mean it's protected from the elements - what more could you ask for?

  • Good turnouts were a noticeable feature of HWCH 2012 and it really seemed as if the festival had a bit of a tipping point this year with a much higher public profile. Chalk it down to a return to Meeting House Square...
